I don't know how displeased he is. I don't think he would allow me to see a chunk in his testimony. However, he had long been a prepper and a funny. He is too old to do anything dramatic now, but he has had his moments of near departure from orthodoxy.
I listened to the opening remarks and, apart from a number of specific points, I agreed with most of what she said. I'm not sure how I feel about it. If it makes the LDS church more fundamentalist and higher demand then that's probably not a great thing. If it softens it and makes it more mainstream, benign, and healthy then I'm all for this movement.
