Actually, he has zero authority in my life, but I know a few million people who seem to think differently. And that's the problem.
From where I'm sitting, he is still a major influence in your life.
Maybe you need to move to a new seat We're talking about two entirely different things here. The fact that our lives interconnect with people around us who recognize his authority doesn't mean we are obligated to do so. I recognize that a lot of people in my environment are influenced by Rush Limbaugh, that doesn't mean I can't be respectful of those people even thought I think he's a reckless dumbass.
