+10. I actually like the talk. Yes, a bit on obedience, but at least not "exact" obedience. And lots of focus of Jesus's grace.

I want to give points for calling out debilitating perfectionism, but he's not acknowledging the toxic culture it comes from, nor the toxic church teachings that lead to it, soooo, 0

We've had a few talks that touched on perfectionism. There was also that recent BYU study that said that members are the least susceptible to perfectionism and the group that suffers most from perfectionism are the people that left the church because they didn't understand church teachings (laughable).

They must have done a survey and woke up to perfectionism being a big problem in the church. It's going to take a lot more gc talks to steer ship Zion in a direction away from perfectionism. We're too rooted in prosperity gospel to get away from it in one or two quick mentions during one conference.

Why are they still sucking up to Rusty? Shouldn't they focus on sucking up to Oaks? He's next in line.
