PROVO - Administrators at the Mormon-run Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah have announced that they will not allow the film
Wonder Woman to be shown anywhere near their campus. Citing the unrealistic portrayal of women in roles they are constitutionally unsuited for is of concern to school administrators, but they concede the main reason is that Wonder Woman has "bare shoulders" which are not in accordance with the gospel.

Flaunting Church dress standards with bare shoulders will not be tolerated, administrators say.

The truly sad part is our inability to determine if it is a joke or not.

In the 70's I was drooling over Wonder Woman!

I Wonder if they had banned the TV show back then?

I believe that phenomenon is known as Poe's Law

I know too well the futility of trying to explain things like the difference between fictional DC Amazons and female homo sapiens.

				Flaunting Church dress standards
I think the word you're searching for is
flouting.
Flaunting has a virtually opposite definition.

Good catch. Flaunting at BYU would probably involve the young women wearing pioneer dresses with French braided hair to their Church History and Obedience class. That BYU administrator clearly meant flouting.
