What am I missing???

This was a brief exchange earlier today. I am genuinely baffled at where this went and am really curious to know your thoughts as to what (it was a pretty simple and straightforward meme) was posted by
BLUE (obviously a bitter Exmo type) and the interpretation by
RED (a TBM/StayLDS type).
Anyway, here are the screenshots....

Red is trying to say that people who are opposed to LGBTQ rights are being persecuted for their beliefs and are coming out looking like monsters.
I had an institute teacher who used to say: "Equal rights oppresses someone" I think that is what red is saying. Their world is being oppressed because they are against LGBTQ.
