I've seen several mentions before about a Chinese dish called Coca Cola Chicken. It finally piqued my interest enough that I looked it up online. Now, before you say, "But Moksha, we can't possibly pollute our body temples with that demon cola", let me share some penguin science. The combination of onions, garlic, black pepper, and cooking banishes the demon spirits from the cola, rendering it fit for the holiest TBM. Anyway, if you try this recipe, let me know how it tastes.

I've used Coke in the slow cooker on a pot roast, works wonders! Can of cream of mushroom, half can of coke, veggies, meat - slow cooked over 4-6 hours and bam! Sunday eats!

My wife tried it once. She just assumed Diet Coke was ok.

And the whole point, as I understand it, is to boil down the Coke to a sweet syrup (i.e. sugar). Diet Coke boils down to a brown stain and even the sweetener breaks down and stops trying.
