Oh boy! The FAIR conference is coming up. How better to spend $150 and 3 days of your life. Sign up here: https://fairlatterdaysaints.org/store/p ... onference/

Is it me, or does their description sound a bit desperate?
Together, we’ll explore faith, clarify doubts, and find our testimonies strengthened through thoughtful dialogue. You’ll come away not only with answers, but with confidence and compassion to help loved ones who may be questioning their faith.

They might have a fresh set of deceptions that will help pull one over on your doubting relatives, so they will keep paying their tithing.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

It’s a real podcast. Syster Ryder has listened to a few episodes and then humorously dismisses why they are so cringe. It’s bad! I think there is a current wave of women waking up to the patriarchy and are starting to understand that the church still openly ignores polygamy leaving it as a celestial practice it will never disavow itself from. Even Oaks recently said something about heavenly mother(s) in one of his addresses to members. I’ll have to find a link for that and post.

As far as I know, fair hasn’t been successful in defending the church or preventing people from leaving. So consider the event as a scrapbooking convention where people of like minds go to see the latest bedazzler.

When are they going to have a panel discussion about garment friendly tank tops with role play demonstrations of how to explain to your mother in law YOU REALLY ARE wearing garments??

A bit of AI humor: asked AI to come up with a few courses to supplement the fair conference.

FAITH-PROMOTING EXPLANATIONS 101

Credit Hours: 3
Learn to lovingly deflect complex historical issues with phrases like “We don’t know all the reasons” and “Ask God.” Final project: write a devotional that makes a polygamist census feel like a family reunion.

ADVANCED SEER STONE PLACEMENT

Credit Hours: 2 (plus optional Hat Lab)
Explore ergonomics of revelation. Includes a comparative workshop on stone types, hat depths, and candlelit dictation setups. BYOH (Bring Your Own Hat).

MILK BEFORE MEAT: SPIRITUAL NUTRITION & DEFLECTION STRATEGIES

Credit Hours: 3
Prepare converts for doctrines they won’t learn about until year five. Role play scenarios include temple garments, Kolob, and the entire 1830s.

FAIR's nod to controversy is having Aaron Sherinian, the Managing Director of the Church Communication Department for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as a Keynote speaker.

Many Saints regard him as a turncoat and a traitor in the Mormon War against the LGBTQ Community. The Brethren have sidelined him in his main duties since being hired to prevent him from being "Gay Friendly". I assume FAIR has some special dispensation to invite Elder Sherinian and extracted a promise not to speak on anything "Gay".

If he does so, I imagine Church security will tackle him to the ground and send him packing back to New York City.
