I have always disliked this statement by Oaks. It grinds me to think that we should not criticize. But as I think about it more, I’m softening up in a few areas.
1) would I like people to criticize me as a scoutmaster? No. I could just quit if i wanted to. I’m not paid for this, so if you think you can do better, please take over....
2) What about constructive feedback? Yes, I wouldn’t mind feedback, if i could as those giving feedback to help share the load in a few areas.
3) Should senior leaders be criticized? Yes.
They are paid by our tithing. They are leaders of an organization that takes our money. Yes, they should have a mechanism for receiving criticism; should have a continuous improvement model.

Hmmm... Continuous improvement model? Well, the average age of the top-3-old-white-dudes on the board of directors has been continuously rising for a while, does that count?

I think wisdom increases with age, until wisdom is replaced with senility. I think the top started the decline some time ago.

Continuous imporvement, they call it Revelation.
Lately I have been having many of them.
Like Uchtdorf being assigned to Europe, I know it 1 week before it was announced.
I call it logical thinking, many LDS I spoke call the same revelation.
