Not just mainstream Christianity but the Evangelicals. They've been trying to get a seat at that particular table in the middle school cafeteria for years. Too bad the evangelicals HATE us and always will.
Even in my most TBM days, I never wanted to be associated with evangelicalism. It makes no sense to fight for that seat.

I was wondering how long before somebody used the word "pestilence." Bingo!

My son has autism, and he has expressed that he 100% expects to be resurrected with autism. I know the "God will fix all our imperfections" line is comforting to a lot of people (like my SIL who suffered a devastating stroke at the age of 30) but at the same time I don't like to think of God as some kind of eugenicist who's going to make us all the same.
